It’s A Wonderful Wiki World?
I have actually enjoyed working as a group in the Wiki ever since this class started. So what has inspired this deep appreciation for all things Wiki?
Well I like the fact that my classmates and I are able to freely share ideas and information. Personally, I believe working in a group has many advantages, particularly when working with a Wiki. It gives us a shared workspace that is easy to navigate and edit.
Group assignments seem to be important in a writing intensive class like this because writing is all about communicating. Working in a group should improve our communication skills. That is probably one of the main objectives of assigning group work. Another primary objective might be to give everyone in the class an opportunity to practice writing about specific subjects. (Hmm..tricky, but effective).
Overall I don’t think there are any challenges to working in a group, but one obvious reward is that all of us have extra support to complete our first writing project.
